This free service cannot be any cooler.
Instead of paying 8-15 cents a minute to provide 1-800 calls to people you need to meet with, simply set up a FreeConferenceCall.com account. You get a regular number (not toll free) that you give to all your participants. Participants call the number, and it charges the regular rate for a long-distance call (or normal minutes on a cell phone). Many companies now have flat-rate plans in the office, so often there is no charge at all.
Each conference call account can have up to 96 callers for calls up to 6 hours in length.
