FaxZero: Free Internet Faxing

A couple of weeks ago, I needed to fax an order form. I haven’t configured my computer to send faxes and my fax machine isn’t set up either. So I searched for a free tool to help.

I was so happy when I discovered FaxZero. What a cool thing. You upload a document or PDF to fax to anyone for free (maximum 3 pages, 2 free faxes a day). The cover page will contain an ad — not a problem for most faxes I need to send. But if I need something more professional, I can pay $1.99 and fax up to 15 pages with an ad-free cover sheet.

  1. Free Fax says:

GotFreeFax.com is another website that lets user send free fax online to the US and Canada. User can either upload a PDF/Word file or enter text to fax. Plus, it does not add Ads to the fax, which makes it more suitable for faxing formal documents.

One issue with FaxZero is it’s really slow. It can take several hours to fax something.

It’s free and a great service, but it’s worth nothing that it’s not instant in the way you’d expect a fax to be.
